Then future Olympic all around champion Sunisa Lee competed a wobble free routine on balance beam at the 2021 US Olympic Trials. 

The American gymnast started her routine with a triple wolf turn (E) followed by a double wolf turn (D).

She then performed her acro dance series, a front aerial (D) to a split jump (B) to a back handspring (B), worth 0.1 connection bonus and 0.1 series bonus.

She confidently moved on to a switch ring leap (E) to a split leap forward (A) then to a switch leap (C) to a switch leap with half turn (D) to a split ring jump (D), which is worth 0.3 connection bonus.

For the acro series, she competed the highly difficult 'Dudnik' series, a side aerial (D) to two layout step outs (C), worth 0.3 connection bonus and 0.1 series bonus.

She ended her routine with two back handsprings (B) to double twist (C), worth 0.1 series bonus.

Lee is an Olympic beam finalist, having finished in fifth place on the apparatus in Tokyo.


Routine was judged in accordance to 2022-2024 CoP.
