At the 2016 Olympic Games, Brazil's Rebeca Andrade qualified to the all around final in third place behind US Simone Biles and Alexandra Raisman.
Unfortunately, Andrade was prevented from making history at this Olympics due to costly mistakes.
She ended up in eleventh place.
But the then 17 year old gymnast did not give up, and went on to become the first gymnast from South America to win an Olympic all around medal (silver) and to become an Olympic champion (vault) five years later in Tokyo.
