Update: Andreoli will not take part at the upcoming World championships due to feet pain.

Italy's head coach Enrico Casella:

“This doen’t allow her to push as she would like and could, her gymnastics in fact are characterized by power, explosiveness and strong acrobatic skills.  Consequently, it is clear that presenting simplified exercises would not have been useful”

“Would not have been useful either for his health or for the team.
That is why it was decided to preserve and cure it.”

Angela Andreoli has reportedly withdrawn from the Italian championships, where Italy's World team gets selected.

The reason for the withdrawal is yet to be announced. We are also yet to know if her withdrawal meant that she won't be competing at the upcoming World championships, which will be held between Oct 29 and Nov 6, in Liverpool, Great Britain.

Andreoli turned senior this year. She helped her team win their first title at a European championships since 2006. She has also won a bronze medal on floor exercise there.

The Italian gymnast has impressed fans with her high difficulty on balance beam.
