This will be the first European championships to be held in Italy since 2009. Milan was the host city for the championships. There, Italy's Vanessa Ferrari won a silver medal on floor exercise.
The 2024 competition will be held between May 1-5.
As Italy won gold at this year's championships, they will go to Rimini as the defending champions.
