A Hindroff is a clear hip circle on high bar counter straddle to hang on high bar. The E rated release is named after East German gymnast Silvia Hindroff.
A piked Hindroff was originated by China's Shang Chunsong at the 2013 World championships. The release was given an F rating.
Last year, Portuguese gymnast Ana Filipa Martins submitted her Hindroff with half turn which received an F rating.
Therefor, Black's release could potential receive a G rating which is the highest rating on the uneven bars.
The 26 year old gymnast, who competed at the last three Olympic Games, has never had an element named after her.
She will have to compete the release at any FIG competitions or the Olympic Games in order to have it added to the code of points under her name.
Black will not be competing at the 2022 Canadian championships in order to rest a sore ankle and prepare for the Commonwealth Games this summer and Worlds this fall.
