Radivilov, who won bronze on vault at the 2012 London Olympic Games, is a native of the city.
He and his wife have been reporting on Russian atrocities in Mariupol using Instagram.
Mariupol has been under near-constant bombardment since the first day of Russia's full scale military invasion of Ukraine.
Electricity, water, food supplies, and heating has been cut off due to constant shelling by the Russian occupiers.
Kateryna Dyachenko, an 11 year old Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast from Mariupol, was recently killed when her house collapsed after a direct hit by Russian artillery.
Thousands of the city's residents have been subjected to forced deportation from the war-torn city to Russia.
