Angela Andreoli is an Italian gymnast who turns senior this year (2022). She was born on June 6th, 2006.

She is one of the most anticipated first year seniors.

Vault

She recently upgraded her vault to one and a half twisting Yurchenko

Uneven bars

She does Komova (E) and connects it to a pak salto (D), worth 0.2 connection bonus. Both are bars transition.

She connects Chow (D) to Ricna (E), worth 0.2 bonus.

She also does a piked Jaeger (D).

In late 2021, she attempted to connect her Komova to pak salto with Chow to Ricna, and upgraded her dismount from a double back pike (C) to a full twisting back tuck (D).

Balance beam

She competes massive elements. She opens her routine with an E rated mount, a salto backward step out.

She does a forward handspring (B) to a forward tuck (D), 0.2 bonus, two back handsprings (B) to a full twisting layout to two feet (G), worth 0.2 connection bonus and 0.1 series bonus.

 

She ends her routine with a full twisting back tuck, which is the second most difficult beam dismount after the double double which was originated by Simone.

She has also competed an F rated mount, a layout to two feet.

Floor exercise

She competes a full twisting double layout, rated an H. An original tumbling pass, the indirect combination of forward tuck (A), whip (A), and full in tuck (E) - worth 0.2 connection bonus.

Bottom of line, she definitely shows high potential. The Italian gymnasts showed strong presence last quad, and with her on the team, they can potentially fight for team medals at major international competitions.

Her beam is a breath of fresh air. It has huge difficulty and very different from most beam routines. It is a potential gold winning one.

She still has a lot to improve, like upgrading her vault if she wanted to be an all around contender and working on her consistency.
