Italy has finally announced their Tokyo Olympic team.

Alice D’Amato, Asia D’Amato, Martina Maggio, and Giorgia Villa were named as part of the four member team for the upcoming summer Olympic Games.

Alice D’Amato, Asia D’Amato, and Giorgia Villa were part of the bronze medal winning Italian team at the 2019 World championships. This was the country's first team medal at a World Championships since 1950.

As the alternate, Martina Maggio was as well awarded with the team bronze medal.

Italy is the last country to announce their Olympic team. Last month, Vanessa Ferrari earned an individual spot for Tokyo by grabbing the gold medal on floor exercise at the 2021 Doha World cup.
