Aliya Mustafina got married to Alexey Zaitsev.
News just arrived that Olympic champion Aliya Mustafina got married to her boyfriend and bobsleigh champion Alexey Zaitsev.
Mustafina is a two-time Olympic champion and a three-time world
champion. She now has a new piece of gold to add to her collection, but of a
different kind: a wedding ring!
For the big occasion, Mustafina was wearing a sleeveless white dress
with a lace strip around her shoulders. She was holding a pink and purple
flower bouquet, which matched her purple nails. Mustafina always loved matching
leotard and nail colours, and did it even for her wedding day!
In a recent interview, Mustafina said that she would like to be a mother
once her gymnastics career is over. It is still unclear whether her marriage
will accelerate her plans to retire and focus on her family or not, but
whatever her choices will be, we wish her good luck!
