If there is one thing we all agree on, it will be that beam finals during the last World championships were the worst.

At 2013 Worlds

China's Shang Chunsong got massively underscored. She had the most difficult routine in the competition and her execution was mediocre compared to the other finalists yet she received the lowest score of all the gymnasts who did not fall.

Romania's Larisa Iordache, who was the favorite to win the gold medal, had a fall.

Russia's Anna Rodionova fell off the apparatus.

At 2014 Worlds

Russia's Aliya Mustafina was awarded the bronze medal despite missing a requirement

Larisa Iordache fell again

Canada's Elisabeth Black fell.

China's Yao Jinnan fell.

At 2015 Worlds

Sanne Wevers of Netherlands had some hesitation and ridiculously visible wobbles yet was awarded a silver medal.

The bronze medalist Pauline Schäfer of Germany had a shaky routine.

Wang Yan of China fell.

Seda Tutkhaylan of Russia fell.

Elisabeth Black of Canada fell.

Eythora Thorsdottir of Netherlands fell.
