Russia's Seda Tutkhaylan delivered a terrific performance on balance beam at 2016 Russian championships.

The Armenian born Russian gymnast  competed two G rated skills AKA two of the most difficult skills; a straight layout with full twist preceded by a round off, the combo earned her 0.2 connection bonus, and the rarely done full in pike.

She did a forward aerial (D) to Sissone (A), worth 0.1 connection bonus, she connected the latter element to a wolf jump fulfilling the requirement of connection of two dance elements.

She attempted to connect a switch leap (C) to switch leap half but suffered a wobble, and did a switch ring leap (E). She received a score of 15.333.

Unfortunately, Seda's inconsistencies during the championships and last year's competitions caused the head coaches not to consider her as a lock for the team selection for the 2016 European championships.

Update: She represented her country at the 2016 Olympic Games, where she won silver with her team.

Last year (2015), Seda fell on balance beam at Baku Games' event final where she was the favorite to win gold. At 2015 Worlds, she fell on the same event in team and event final.
