The Six New Skills That Were Added To The CoP In 2015

Gymnasts can always have their brand new original skills bear their name after they successfully compete it at any of the following competitions; Olympics, Worlds and Youth Olympics.

If two gymnasts submitted and performed the same skill in the same competition, the skill will be added to CoP without any of the gymnasts' names attached to it. Skills need to be worth a C or higher in order to bear the name of its originator.



Uneven Bars

Balance Beam

Skill: Mount change leg leap to free cross split - diagonal approach to beam

Skill: Mount standing with back to the beam - jump backward to side split on beam with hand support
Rating: B

















Gymnast: Kitti Honti
Country: Hungary
Age: 16
Skill: Gainer Flic Flac with 1/4 twist  to handstand (2 sec) - lower to optional end position. If performed with additional half turn in handstand, no 2 sec hold is required.

Skill: Stag jump with half turn

Gymnast: Brenna Dowell
Country: USA
Age: 19
Skill: Double forward piked salto

Only Marisa Dick, Kitty Honti and Brenna Dowell got their skills named after them. The rest were just added to the CoP.
