Romanian sports newspaper ProSport informed us that the Romanian gymnasts will compete next Saturday, 30th of May, along with teams from Italy, Russia and Columbia, at “The Tournament of the 4th Nations” of Torino international competition. This will be the first competition for the Romanian girls since the European Championships.
The Romanian coaches will be sending sending Diana Bulimar, Laura Jurcă, Ana Maria Ocolişan, Silvia Zarzu and Andreea Ciurusnuic.
“It’s a competition that we have set our eyes on, it is a preparation for Worlds and a very good one for the European Games that will be held in Baku, also for FOTE, because the competition rules allowed us to send a junior. We need these competitions to see how the girls are handling them.” said the Technical Director of the Romanian Federation, Anca Grigoas.
