The World championships is one of the three competition where gymnasts can get their original skills named after them.

Gymnasts have to perform the skill successfully with no falls. The skills have to receive C or more rating in order to bear their name.

Seven gymnasts have submitted new skills.

It is worth pointing out that if two or more successfully performed the same original skill at the same competition, the skill will be added bearing no name. In Montreal, Belgian Nina Derwael and British Georgia-Mae Fenton will be facing such situation.
