Romania's Larisa Iordache has withdrawn from the current World championships.

The Romanian gymnast hurt herself while warming up on floor just before the qualification according to International Gymnast. She was seen carried out of the apparatus by her coach.

The Twitter account of the magazine wrote that the unfortunate gymnast injured herself doing a round off jump straight up on floor. She completely tore her Achilles on the take off.

The Romanian Gymnastics Federation has confirmed that Larisa has torn her Achilles tendon.

Iordache showed great difficulty and improvement during training in Montreal thus was the top favorite to win the all around gold.

China's Liu Tingting, who was also one of the favorites to win the all around competition, suffered an injury and was replaced by teammate Wang Yan. She will only compete on beam.

Brasil's Rebeca Andrade has sustained an ACL tear during Montreal training.

The four time World medalist has been suffering from injuries in the past two years. At this year's European championships, she was expected to shine in the all around but an injury limited her to two apparatus. She left the competition with a bronze medal.
