Week 10 marked the end of the 2017 NCAA regular season. Oklahoma ranks number 1 in the country and is the only team to be undefeated this season. Next weekend the Conference championships are taking place. There will then be a two-week break, before moving into regionals and nationals.

Week 10 in 10 points

1. Here are the top-ten standings at the end of the regular season: #1 Oklahoma; #2 LSU; #3 UCLA; #4 Florida; #5 Utah; #6 Alabama; #7 Denver; #8 Georgia; #9 Michigan; #10 Oregon State.

2. #1 Oklahoma ended the regular season undefeated and is the favourite to win the national title later this year. It would be the Sooners’ second title in a row.

3. #2 LSU suffered only one defeat this season, against #1 Oklahoma. But they look increasingly sharp and the post-season will be super tight.

4. UCLA’s Katelyn Ohashi scored her second perfect 10.0 in two weeks on beam. She is peaking at the right time!

5. UCLA’s Christine Peng-Peng Lee, in her fifth year as a Bruin, finally reached perfection, scoring her second perfect 10.0 of the season on bars.

6. Oregon State’s Kaytianna McMillan, on her senior night, scored the first perfect 10.0 of her career on the uneven bars.

7. Southern Utah’s Stacie Webb made history, becoming the first Southern Utah gymnast to ever score a perfect 10.0. It happened on beam for a flawless routine.

8. On Senior Night, we honour, thank and wish the best of luck to some of the top NCAA seniors: Oklahoma’s Chayse Capps, Reagan Hemry, Charity Jones, Kara Lovan, Nicole Turner and McKenzie Wofford; LSU’s Ashleigh Gnat, Sydney Ewing and Shae Zamardi; Florida’s Claire Boyce; UCLA’s Peng-Peng Lee, Angi Cipra, Mikaela Gerber and Hallie Mosett; Alabama’s Aja Simms, Katie Bailey, Amanda Jetter, Keely McNeer, Mary Lillian Sanders and Mackenzie Valentin; Utah’s Baely Rowe; Georgia’s Ashlyn Broussard, Lauren Johnson, Morgan Reynolds, Beth Roberts and Rachel Schick; Oregon State’s Kaytianna McMillan and Madeline Gardiner and many more…

9. Here are a few gymnasts who deserved to score a perfect 10.0 during this regular season and did not: Alabama’s Nickie Guerrero and Kiana Winston on beam, LSU’s Sarah Finnegan also on beam, UCLA’s Madison Kocian on floor and Oklahoma’s AJ Jackson also on floor. Will it happen in the post-season?

10. Oklahoma’s AJ Jackson’s sassy and beautiful floor routine is also our final floor routine of the week.

Oklahoma's AJ Jackson's floor routine is our floor routine of the week.
