1. No. 1 Oklahoma beat no. 2 LSU, posting the highest score of the season so far, 198.350.

2. LSU lost against Oklahoma on Friday, but came back stunningly strong on Sunday night for the second meet of the week, at home, against GWU and Iowa. The LSU Tigers posted a season-high overall score, 197.975, and ten new or tied season-high scores. Head coach D-D Breaux called it ‘a wake-up call’.

3. Denver’s Maddie Carr scored a perfect 10.0 on vault for a beautiful one-and-a-half-twisting Yurchenko.

4. UCLA’s Kyla Ross posted her second perfect 10.0 on the uneven bars against Utah.

5. Oklahoma’s Maggie Nichols posted her fourth (!) perfect 10.0, the second on balance beam. She is the first Oklahoma Sooner to score two perfect 10.0s on beam – and expect more to come!

6. Speaking of Maggie Nichols, the Oklahoma freshman is on a league of her own. This week she posted an incredible all around score of 39.925, which was formed of a 10.0 and three 9.975. Wow!

7. Speaking of impressive scores – On floor, all scores Utah counted this week were 9.9 or above: MaKenna Merrell 9.950, MyKayla Skinner 9.950, Baely Rowe 9.950, Missy Reinstadtler 9.925 and Tiffani Lewis 9.900.

8. Utah’s Missy Reinstadtler’s floor routine was pure elegance and perfection and is also our routine of the week.

9. Utah’s Baely Rowe performed an excellent beam routine, which included the super sassy moon walk.

10. Stanford’s Elizabeth Price was back already this week, after injuring her foot a week ago. She posted an excellent 9.950 on the uneven bars.

Utah's Missy Reinstadtler's routine is our floor routine of the week.
