Former French gymnast Ludivine Furnon has given birth to a baby girl. She named her daughter Lola according to ActusGym.

Furnon is one of the best gymnasts France has ever produced. In 1995, she became the first female French gymnast to win a medal at World championships since Alexandrine Lemoine in 1950. The medal was a bronze on floor exercise.

In 2000, she became the first female French gymnast to win a gold medal at European championships which was on floor exercise. Furnon is two time Olympian having competed in Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000.

What is even more impressive than her career is that the former French gymnast, who started attending dance classes at the age of eight, began the sport at the age of eleven.

Furnon is also know for being part of the Canadian entertainment company, Cirque du Soleil.
