More than ten years ago, Aura Andreea Munteanu was a very talented and beautiful Romanian gymnast but had an unfortunate luck.

She was selected to compete at 2004 Olympic Games but was forced to withdraw due to injury. She tried to push herself to continue competing, however she retired in 2006 due to nagging back injuries.

It is worth mentioning that she competed at 2003 Worlds where she contributed to her team's silver medal and finished fourth in floor final. The 2003 Worlds was her only major international competition.
