Ksenia Afanasyeva
More problems on the Russian national team.

According to stadium.ru, national head coach Valentina Rodionenko revealed that the reigning European floor champion Ksenia Afanasyeva is suffering from kidney infection. Nevertheless, she will still go to Glasgow where the World championships will be held and based on her condition, they will decide whether she will compete or not.

It was discovered that Mustafina, who won't participate at the competition, is suffering from knee ligament tear and will go to Germany in order to have a surgery after Glasgow. She will be present with the Russian Worlds team as a guest honor. However, she remains optimistic and is in good spirit.

The Glasgow Russian team will consist of Ksenia Afanasyeva, Daria Spiridonova, Seda Tutkhalyan, Maria Paseka, Maria Kharenkova, Viktoria Komova and Evegeniya Shelgunova as an alternate.

The top eight teams in the qualification will qualify immediately to the Rio Olympics.

Glasgow will be held between October 23 and November 1.
