Her left ankle forced her out of competitions during the past eight months. The doctors recommended that she wear an ankle brace in order to protect it and help prevent further injuries.
“It’s very unusual to me because I want to train certain elements and I can’t since I know that I’m not allowed to. It is very hard for me to wait and patience was never my virtue”, said Iordache.
Lucian Sandu, one of the main coaches, stated that Larisa has already began her normal training and that she feels good and hopefully she will improve.
Regarding Glasgow World Championships, Larisa told the TVR reporter that she thinks that the team will have a very tough competition.
“I believe that the team competition at Worlds will be a very tough one but we will be united as a team and everything will be alright. That’s what I feel”.
But before Glasgow, Larisa will compete for the first time this year, at the Romanian Nationals which will be broadcast live by TVR1.
