Good news from Romania. ProSport reported that Diana Bulimar who underwent surgery on her right knee two months ago, will soon resume full training.

The Romanian gymnast has a high chance of competing in Glasgow World Championship, where she is needed in order to help the team in qualifying for the Rio Olympics.

After a routine check, doctors confirmed that things are going very well and that she can resume her training and by next week she will not need the crutches anymore.

“Didi already has the permission to train, but she only did light training all this time. More than that, she trained on bars, without the dismount, of course. The doctors made everything possible to have her recovered as soon as possible and they assured that theoretically she will be fully recover starting from August the 15th. Now I believe that everything depends on her, on her body, we can’t force her. She will probably recover by the time of Worlds but we will have to see to what extent” said Romanian coach Lucian Sandu, for ProSport.
