UEG caught up with Romania's Laura Jurca to talk about Baku.

Jurca informed us that she is planning on showing new skills at the competition where she is aiming to do her best with her team and make the podium.

Outside gymnastics, the Romanian athlete would like to watch a tennis tournament. When asked 'What's life in the Athletes' Village like?' she answered: "In the Athletes Village we can meet people from different countries and with different cultures, we can make new friends and spending free time with joy and relax."

Last year, Jurca competed at the 2014 Youth Olympic games where she made all finals yet left the competition empty handed. She turned senior this year and was named to her country's European championship team, she qualified to the all around final but again left the competition with no medals.

Jurca along with teammates Andreea Iridon and Silvia Zarzu will fight for medals for their country in Baku.

The gymnastics competition is set to start on 14th June.
