Desmoinesregister.com has reported that two time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas of US has left her coach chow again.

Liang Chow confirmed that Douglas who is now looking for another coach, has left his gym after a gymnastics reunion that lasted only three months.

Chow told the website that they had an understanding in which he prepares Douglas to be in decent and good physical shape and when the period was over, she had to make a decision either train in Chow’s gym or somewhere else. Nevertheless, Chow stated that he respects his gymnast’s decision and wants her next chapter to be a successful one.

During the try out period, Gabby made a lot of progress and impressed national team coordinator Marta Karolyi who believes the 18 year old gymnast could be ready to compete by the world championships in China later this year. If Douglas successfully made the US World team, she will be the first Olympic all around champion from the US to compete at a major international event.

But this is not the first time for Gabby to leave Chow. Last year’s August, she left the gym in order to join her family in California.

Gabby is the first African American gymnast to win an Olympic all around medal.
